Diam celebrates Oman's 49th national day

The public Authority for Water (Diam) shares the joys and delights of the Omani people by organizing a ceremony for its employees on Monday on this auspicious occasion at its Head Office Ghubra.
H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mahrouqi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Water and employees of the Authority attended the event. Diam branches in other governorates also celebrated the event with much enthusiasm.
The ceremony began with Oman National Anthem followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran by Sheikh Yahya al-Qanoubi and followed by a prayer for His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
In his presiding speech H.E. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mahrouqi, expressed his happiness and delight in the 49th glorious National Day and the achievements achieved under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and his patronage. H.E. Mohammed congratulates diam's staff on this precious occasion and the progress and prosperity they witness today at various levels and thanked them for the effort and encouraged them to continue to carry out the good work. Every effort needs to be made to achieve the development and prosperity of our country and to pursue Diam's vision, which aims to ensure the provision of safe drinking water of high quality and sustainable to all residents of the Sultanate.
In addition, several competitions were conducted, which received a great deal of interaction from the audience of Diam's staff. In conclusion, the young poet Nouf al-Briki presented a national poem.
